Itaga Luxury Private Game Lodge offers an outdoor swimming pool with a view and sun loungers. Guests can join game drives to see wildlife like elephants, rhinos, and giraffes within the Mabalingwe reserve. Archery and daily guided game drives are available on-site.
Rooms
Each air-conditioned chalet includes a private patio with outdoor furniture. The private bathroom features an indoor and outdoor shower, with free toiletries provided. Heating and tea-and-coffee making facilities are available in every unit.
Dining
The lodge's on-site restaurant serves chef-prepared meals, with special diet menus available upon request. Breakfast and dinner are multi-course affairs, with guests frequently praising the chef's creativity. A snack bar and a selection of wine and champagne are offered at the bar.
Location & Wildlife
Itaga is located inside the Mabalingwe Private Nature Reserve, a 30-minute drive from Bela-Bela. OR Tambo International Airport can be reached within 2 hours by car. Wildlife including elephants, zebras, giraffes, and ostriches are seen in the reserve and sometimes on the lodge grounds.
Wellness
The spa and wellness centre offers body scrubs, body treatments, facial treatments, manicures, pedicures, and massage. Spa facilities and spa/wellness packages are available for guests. A fitness centre is also provided on the property.
